VW Bus - Facebook

This post I have gathered the images from off of the VW Bus Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/VW-Bus/41013959589) that someone has set up and it specialises at VW Campers. I feel that this page has given me some really good wide range of images and they are images from people all around the world and I can get involved with their discussions and thoughts and opinions on them. I feel I could use a wide range of these images to help influence my design style and the image style that I wish to include in my brochure.

These images are fun and relate to the hippy era and are very iconic for the time frame and relate strongly to the VW Campers and the surfer times on the beach, I feel I will be able to find a wide range of imagery to support this phase. This also shows a fun and querky side to camper vans and would be a great topic to talk about in my brochure.

I really like the run down and unloved for look of this camper van, I feel I could strengthen the image by lowering the opacity and adding a black and white filter to areas and enhancing the colour in parts, I really want to emphasise the aged and messy appearance of this camper van, I really like the setting of where it has been photgraphed also as it shows a lot of relation and link between the subject and the area.

I like the environment that this camper van is in and I also like the run down and old appearance of the camper van as it shows ageing.

I love this image, the colours and compostion of it are very strong and successful, I feel an image like this would be very suitable for the front cover as it is fun, fresh and pulls the eye of the viewer into the image.

These three images I feel could work as a series as I feel that the settings that they have been placed in are very natural and reflect the environments in which they would be most recognised in with the public. I love the ho the photos are so simple and natural and how they have been taken without any fancy editing work. These would work great on a DPS and would be easy to talk about and create tag lines up for each of them.

I like how this image has been taken and how the sun shines off of it and creates shadows and gives a sense of perspective and leads the eye into and around the image.

This is the new shape VW camper van, I felt that I should include it so as to build up a picture timeline of what I will include in my brochure and how I would get from the beginning through to the end result.

Both this image and the above I feel are effective as I like the rustic and run down finish of the body work that they have on them. I feel typography would work well for both of these and would be effective in my brochure design for a page on run down VW camper vans.

I love this image due to how it has been photographed. I like how it is a close up and has been taken from the ground as you get a range of different grounds to look at, the foreground, middle ground and background. I feel this is really strong and makes the image very powerful and of importance.

I like how this image is portrait and the photo effect that has been applied to it as it is very antique and creates a feeling of time and ageing.

This is one of my favourite images on this post because I like how the two VW's interact with one another and have clearly been designed to work and reflect one another. I also like how the image has been put together with the surf board and the guitar as this reflects the personalities and the era of the VW's. I feel this would be and is probably one of the strongest images I have of both of them together and it would be a strong image to connect the two brochures together.
